Pascale Gautier is a vocalist, specialised in A Cappella singing. She is a member of the group Les Grandes Gueules, which won first place at the National Jazz Competition of Paris La Défense, and has also performed with groups such as Les Fêlés du Vocal and Elull Noomi. In addition to her performing career, Pascale is passionate about teaching and has been an educator in schools since 2001. She holds the Diplôme d’Études Musicales (DEM) in Jazz.
Pascale studied music at the Conservatoire de Nice for eight years, where she honed her craft and developed her distinctive voice. She later founded her own Jazz Quartet, with which she has performed extensively in the jazz scenes of southern France. Pascale has also released two albums, “Louna mi” and “Yolané”, both showcasing her unique vocal style and jazz interpretation.
As an educator, Pascale is dedicated to vocal technique and music education. She teaches vocal technique and jazz improvisation at Le JAM in Montpellier, and coaches vocalists in a wide range of styles, including jazz, soul, and classical music. Pascale also prepares students for jazz conservatory entrance exams and studio recordings. She is highly skilled in arranging vocal pieces for A Cappella groups and has worked with VOX BOX A Cappella. Additionally, she has created background vocals for various music albums, including Keltoum’s upcoming release.
Pascale leads jazz and pop choirs and regularly organizes vocal jazz workshops, such as Jazz à Junas and Summertime in Cevennes. She holds the Diplôme d’Études Musicales (DEM) in Jazz and has been a vocal pedagogue and coach for many years, guiding aspiring musicians in developing their vocal technique and performance skills.
